Jaipur, March 25, 2026: Actor and model Harshil Kalia (30) died in a tragic road accident in Jaipur after the car she was driving crashed into a divider and overturned late at night, police said.
According to officials, the accident took place around 11:30 PM on Monday on Shipra Path Road in the Mansarovar area of Jaipur. Harshil was reportedly returning home after meeting a friend when the incident occurred.
Police said the vehicle lost control near a turn, climbed onto the divider and flipped over, resulting in severe injuries to the actor-model.
Local residents rushed to the spot after hearing the crash and helped take her to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors declared her dead due to critical injuries, including serious head trauma.
Reports suggest that the entire accident was captured on CCTV cameras, and the footage has since surfaced online. Police are examining the video as part of the investigation.
Harshil Kalia, a resident of SFS Colony in Jaipur, was known in regional entertainment circles and had appeared in several Rajasthani music videos and modelling projects. Her sudden death has shocked the local entertainment community and her fans.
Police said they are investigating the exact cause of the accident, including whether overspeeding or loss of control may have led to the crash.
The tragic incident has once again raised concerns about road safety and late-night driving accidents in the city.
