RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Arrives in Jaipur for Four-Day Visit

Jaipur, 13 November: Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, touched down in Jaipur on the evening of November 12 for a four-day visit, arriving ahead of a packed schedule of engagements in the city from November 13 to 16.

The visit coincides with the RSS’s centenary-year celebrations and will include interactions with volunteers, social engagements and formal sessions aimed at reflecting on the organisation’s journey and future direction.

Among the key programmes on his itinerary: on November 15, Bhagwat is slated to address a public event on the theme “Current Global Scenario & Integral Human Philosophy” under the aegis of an affiliated foundation hosted at the SMS Indoor Stadium. The next day, November 16, he will inaugurate the release of a book titled “…Aur Yeh Jeevan Samarpit”, which chronicles the lives and contributions of late Sangh pracharaks from Rajasthan.

State-level RSS office-bearers described the visit as an opportunity for “on-the-ground review” of organisational work in Rajasthan and a platform to engage with civil society and niche interest groups across Jaipur. City authorities have reportedly completed advance security and logistical arrangements at the airport and for all major scheduled venues.

As Bhagwat embarks on this visit, the focus will extend beyond ceremonial functions raising attention both to the Sangh’s legacy in the state and its evolving outreach strategy amid a changing socio-political environment.
