Jaipur, 14 Dec 2025: A woman in Jaipur has accused bouncers and the owner of Alpha Nightclub, located in Ashok Nagar, of molestation and physical assault during a late-night incident earlier this week. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the allegations, which have sparked widespread concern over women’s safety in nightlife establishments.
According to the FIR, the woman had visited the club with friends when a dispute reportedly broke out over service. She alleged that bouncers forcibly dragged her aside, touched her inappropriately, beat her, and pushed her out of the club. The complainant further claimed that when she protested, the nightclub owner joined the assault and verbally abused her.
The woman approached Ashok Nagar Police Station shortly after the incident and reported the assault. Police confirmed that a case has been filed under sections related to molestation, assault, intimidation, and misbehavior. A medical examination has been conducted, and CCTV footage from the nightclub is being reviewed.
Officials said the accused bouncers and the club owner are currently under investigation, and statements from witnesses are being recorded. Police also indicated that additional charges may be added if evidence supports further offenses.
The incident has triggered strong reactions from women’s rights groups and local residents, who are demanding stricter regulation and monitoring of nightclubs in Jaipur. They have urged authorities to ensure safer environments for women by enforcing licensing rules, security protocols, and training standards for bouncers.
Police have assured that strict action will be taken based on the findings. “No misconduct against women will be tolerated. The investigation will be fair and speedy,” a senior official said.
The case continues to unfold as officers analyse CCTV recordings, identify all persons involved, and verify the sequence of events leading up to the alleged assault.
