Jaipur Businessman Turns Wedding Invite Into ₹25 Lakh Silver Masterpiece

Jaipur, January 21, 2026: In an extraordinary expression of love and devotion, a Jaipur businessman has set social media abuzz by creating a wedding invitation worth nearly ₹25 lakh for his daughter, entirely crafted from pure silver.

Jaipur Businessman Turns Wedding Invite Into Silver

Shiv Johri, a resident of Jaipur, opted to break away from conventional paper cards and instead commissioned a box-shaped wedding invite made of approximately 3 kg of pure silver. The ornate piece, measuring roughly 8 × 6.5 inches with a depth of 3 inches, took nearly a year to conceptualize and complete and was assembled using 128 individual silver pieces without a single nail or screw.

What makes the invitation truly unique is its design: it features intricate carvings of 65 Hindu deities, beginning with Lord Ganesha at the top, flanked by Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva, followed by Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu, and several other divine forms. The silver card also beautifully depicts episodes from Lord Krishna’s life, the ten avatars of Vishnu, and a South Indian-style tableau of Krishna with five torsos surrounded by eight cows.

According to Johri, the elaborate motifs are not just artistic flourishes but symbolic invitations to the gods and goddesses themselves. He handed over the invitation to his daughter Shruti Johri’s in-laws, stating that he wasn’t just sending off his daughter, but entrusting her future to divine blessings. The names of Shruti and her fiancé, Harsh Soni, are also engraved amid designs of elephants showering flowers, a traditional symbol of prosperity and auspicious beginnings.

The silver invite has now gone viral, drawing admiration for its craftsmanship and emotional depth. Many on social platforms have described it as “a father’s love cast in silver” and one of the most meaningful wedding invitations they’ve seen, blending tradition, faith and contemporary artistry.
