Jaipur Ambulance accident

According to police and eyewitness accounts, the ambulance was en route from a private hospital in Chomu to a hospital in Mansarovar, Jaipur, where the 67-year-old cardiac patient, identified as Sirajuddin, was to receive emergency care.

The vehicle reportedly lost control due to excessive speed and overturned on the busy stretch near Sharma Hospital, just before 7 p.m. local time.

Immediate Casualties and Injuries
The accident claimed the life of Sirajuddin, and his younger brother Firoz Ali (50), who was accompanying him in the ambulance. Both succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

Four others who were onboard, including the ambulance driver Prakash, a nursing staff member Ved Prakash, and two relatives, Amin and Mehraj, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Traffic Disruption and Police Response
Following the crash, traffic on the NH-48 stretch was heavily affected for some time before police and rescue teams cleared the site. Officers from the Kardhani police station reached the location quickly to assist, secure the victims, and begin an investigation into the cause of the accident.

Initial inquiries suggest overspeeding as a key factor in the vehicle losing control, though authorities are gathering more details as part of their ongoing probe.
