Rajasthan Police Bust Inter-State Theft Gang, Arrest Multiple Suspects

Jaipur, 11 Dec 2025: In a major crackdown on organized crime, Rajasthan Police have arrested several members of an inter-state theft gang suspected of carrying out multiple thefts across Rajasthan and neighbouring Madhya Pradesh.

According to police officials, the operation was carried out after extensive intelligence gathering and coordination between law enforcement teams in both states. The accused were allegedly involved in planning and executing thefts in multiple districts, exploiting interstate mobility to evade capture.

Officials said that members of the gang were traced to Madhya Pradesh following leads obtained during an ongoing investigation into theft cases registered in Rajasthan. Acting on specific inputs, police teams conducted targeted raids at multiple locations, leading to the arrest of the suspects. During the operation, stolen property believed to be linked to the gang’s activities was seized as evidence.

“The suspects transported stolen goods across state borders, complicating efforts by local police to track them,” a senior police official said. “This arrest reflects strong inter-state cooperation between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh police forces to tackle organised theft networks.”

Further investigation revealed that the gang targeted residential and commercial locations, often operating at night to carry out thefts. Police have recovered several items, including valuables believed to be stolen, and investigations are underway to link the suspects conclusively to specific cases.

The arrested accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code related to theft and criminal conspiracy. Police said more arrests are expected as the probe progresses and that they are working to retrieve additional stolen property and build a strong case for prosecution.

Officials have appealed to citizens to report suspicious activity and share information about unresolved theft cases, as authorities continue to crack down on organised criminal networks operating across state boundaries.
