Thai Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Begins Cultural Tour in Jaipur

Jaipur, February 8, 2026: Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya of Thailand arrived in Jaipur on Friday, marking the beginning of a four-day visit to Rajasthan that has captured widespread public attention.

The princess touched down at Jaipur International Airport aboard a special flight, where elaborate security arrangements were put in place by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and local police. In line with diplomatic protocols, certain restrictions were imposed on public photography and videography at the airport.

From the airport, HRH Princess Sirivannavari was escorted in a luxury convoy directly to Rambagh Palace, where she will be staying during her Jaipur visit. The convoy drew attention across the city, with heavy security and traffic management measures ensuring a smooth transit.

Exploring Jaipur’s Heritage

During her stay in the Pink City, the princess is scheduled to visit several of Jaipur’s iconic historical and cultural attractions. These include Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Tripolia Bazaar, giving her an up-close experience of Rajasthan’s rich architectural legacy, art, and traditional lifestyle.

The itinerary highlights Rajasthan’s famed “Atithi Devo Bhava” (Guest is God) tradition, showcasing the grandeur and hospitality for which the state is renowned.

Tour Beyond Jaipur

Upon concluding her engagements in Jaipur, the princess is expected to continue her cultural tour in Jodhpur, where visits to Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, and other prominent landmarks are planned. Officials say her visit will not only spotlight Rajasthan’s heritage but also help reinforce cultural ties between India and Thailand.

Born on 8 January 1987, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana is a well-known member of Thailand’s Chakri dynasty and the only daughter of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn eligible to hold royal titles.

Beyond her royal status, she is a fashion designer, having launched her own high-end brand and showcased collections internationally. The princess is also accomplished in sports, having represented Thailand in badminton and equestrian events, and holds a rank as Major General in the Royal Thai Army.
